Aerolineas Argentinas is now owned by the Argentine Government taken over, from the Marsans Group of Spain inmid of 2008.

Since 2009, Aerolineas Domestic and Regional Aircraft Fleet has been totally replaced by a latest Boeing 737-700and 800 series and Embraer 190 e-jets are in operations now replacing the fleet of MD90,s and 737/200. Thatmeans 49 new aircrafts are in operation now.
